The Lake Arrowhead golf complex consists of two 18-hole championship courses located on Highway 13, 35 miles north of Wisconsin Dells and 13 miles south of Wisconsin Rapids.
The Pines Course: Golf Digest awarded The Pines a 4.5 Star "Places to Play" Award Winner and ranked the course among its top 75 public courses in America. Tucked among tall pines and lush woodlands, The Pines provides the ultimate golf experience for players of all skill levels. Opened in 1982, it is the original 18-hole championship course and has matured into the golfing equivalent of a fine wine.
The Lakes Course: Like the Pines, the Lakes received Golf Digest's 4.5 Star ranking in its "Places to Play" section. Upon opening in 1998, the Lakes Course promptly was nominated for Best New Public Course in America. The course features bentgrass fairways, sculpted bunkers, natural sands areas, large undulating greens and four sets of boxes to allow golfers to match the course yardage to their own ability.

Recent course improvements include the addition of sand and water hazards on the front nine. The course's stunning scenery makes it difficult to stay focused, as it looks like you're playing through a postcard! On the back nine, you'll start by teeing off on a ridge overlooking towering pines, the Buena Vista Creek, and the flourishing valley floor some eighty feet below. As you wander the back nine through the winding waters of Buena Vista Creek, strategically placed sand traps, and a beautiful mixture of native Wisconsin white birch, green willows and pines, make sure you pay attention! This combination rewards placement over distance.
