Deer Trail Park Campground offers the kind of comfort and convenience you expect, at very reasonable rates for family camping. Located on the shores of Ross Lake, the campground offers 166 sites with water and electricity. Campground facilities include showers, grocery/camping store, heated pool, miniature golf, arcade, chucker big ball golf, and other recreational activities. Dexter County Park

Located 6 miles south of Pittsville, the park surrounds the 298-acre Lake Dexter, famous for its acres of wildlife and game fish. Totaling more than 1,200 acres, the park offers 95 campsites, 77 of which are electrical. Campground facilities include showers, picnic areas, boat launch, beach area, and an enclosed shelter. The park provides a scenic, undeveloped, wooded area for users. The Wood County Park & Forestry Department takes campsite reservation up to 11 months in advance. On-site registration for non-reserved sites begins May 1 at the campground, through the park closing date, October 31.
