Tour several different area marshes, pick fresh fruit from the vine, and observe
testing, cleaning and freezing of the fruit harvest with students from the nation’s only Cranberry Science Class as your tour guides. A scrumptious lunch with special cranberry treats is included with the tour. All monies go toward scholarship and trip opportunities for Pittsville FFA members. Reservations are a must. Tours offered 9:30 am – 12 pm Sept. 27, 29 and Oct. 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, and 27, 2017 (harvest/weather permitting). Tours available to motor coach groups Monday-Friday.

At the Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center you can see, touch and taste Wisconsin’s #1 fruit crop! The recently redesigned museum features interactive information all about the cranberry industry and history of Wisconsin cranberries. Cranberries have been grown commercially in Wisconsin for more than 150 years. That’s a lot of history for one tiny berry and by visiting the Cranberry Discovery Center, you can see the history come to life through videos, storyboards and historic exhibits. After a fun-filled day packed with cranberries, be sure to visit the Taste Test Kitchen and Ice Cream Parlor to satisfy your taste buds. Along with their berry unique gift shop which features a large selection of cranberry products.
