Go snowmobiling in Wisconsin Rapids area this winter! Eight snowmobile clubs maintain Wisconsin Rapids area’s snowmobile trails and provide snowmobile trail maps. More than 260 miles of snowmobile trails run through Wood County, surrounding Wisconsin Rapids with a web of snowmobile trails that link to thousands more miles of snowmobile trails stretching across all of central Wisconsin. Snowmobilers will find numerous places to stop and warm up along the way, from restaurants and shops to scenic areas.
