ATVing and Motorcycling

Wisconsin Rapids is an outstanding destination for ATVing and motorcycling. South of Wisconsin Rapids, the Town of Rome and Adams County allow ATVs on most county roads. Three designated areas offer ATVing or off-road motorcycling.

Dyracuse is located 15 miles south of Wisconsin Rapids off of State Road 13 on County Road O. ┬áThis 334 acre motorcycle and ATV (all-terrain vehicle) park is open from early April through early October. There are over ten miles of trails, a peewee track, and two motocross tracks. Dyracuse Mound is situated within the recreational area and a lookout tower sits atop the mound. There are picnic grounds, grills, tables, a shelter house, children’s playground, restrooms, and hot and cold water provided. The park is funded by the State of Wisconsin and operated jointly by the Town of Rome and the Rapid Angels Motorcycle Club.

Watch, practice, or participate as motorcycles and ATV’s compete in thrill-a-minute Motocross, Hill Climb, and Mud Bog racing events at the site.

Located three miles west of Port Edwards on Hwy. 54, Wood County ATV Area offers 12 miles of trails on 400 acres of forested land. A restroom facility, running water, playground, loading ramp, and an enclosed shelter are available for your convenience. Open year-round except during the deer gun season. Download a Map.
