Join The Wisconsin Rapids Family Center and McMillan Memorial Library for this important event on human trafficking!
First, attend a free screening of “Nefarious: Merchant of Souls,” a hard-hitting documentary that exposes the disturbing trends of modern day sex slavery.
This free event is at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13 in the Fine Arts Center at McMillan Memorial Library, 490 E. Grand Ave.
Then, join The Family Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19 at McMillan Library for a special presentation with Lisa Sennholz, founder of Damascus Road, and Sarah Bedish, Wausau Police Department community resource officer.
The two will discuss the reality and impact of human trafficking in central Wisconsin, dispel common myths about human trafficking, and share ways people can be alert to human trafficking.
A question and answer session will follow the presentation; light refreshments will be served.
