The Wisconsin Rapids Area Sports Commission (WRASC) provides a forum for leaders in the athletic community who are passionate about promoting our area as a sports destination! We strive to connect people and provide collaboration opportunities to achieve growth and success of our area sports organizations. Additionally, we seek to acquire new athletic events, capitalize on our valued recreational facilities and natural assets, and serve as a resource for those planning a sporting event. WRASC AWARDS

Each year, the Wisconsin Rapids Area Sports Commission (WRASC) acknowledges individuals that demonstrate commitment, creativity, and dynamic energy toward the growth of the sports industry and sports tourism in our community. The purpose of the awards celebration is to highlight the impact of sports on our community and economy and increase awareness of local athletic resources.

NEW FOR 2024! In addition to the MVP Award, we're excited to announce the addition of two new awards to our celebration:
Rookie of the Year Award and Lifetime Achievement Award

Rookie of the Year Award

Honoring an outstanding new leader in the sports industry who has shown exceptional talent and dedication in their first 1-2 years of involvement.

Most Valuable Person (MVP) Award

Honoring a coach, leader, manager, or supporting volunteer with at least 3 years of active involvement
who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication and contribution to the sports industry of the Wisconsin Rapids Area.

2024 WRASC Awards Celebration

Celebrate the amazing work and achievements of our local sports leaders and organizations at the 2024 WRASC Awards Celebration on Thursday, November 7th, 2024, at Bullseye Golf Club, beginning at 6 PM.

This event is a fantastic opportunity to network with sports organizations, learn more about local sporting opportunities, and connect with like-minded leaders in our sports industry!
Enjoy a cocktail & networking hour from 6PM - 7PM, with entertainment by the Lincoln High School Jazz Band
- Sponsored Bar, hosted by the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.
Cost is $25 per person with RSVP by Friday, October 25th; $35 after. Cost includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, dessert and soft drinks.
